Abdullah Mahmoud
An Egyptian actor, born in 1959 in the Egyptian capital, Cairo. He worked in the field of acting as a child when he participated in school plays and children’s programmes. After graduating from the Agricultural Cooperation Institute, he joined the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, and began his artistic career through the series (Al-Bostaji), which qualified him to participate in a large number of television series, including: Fire Bird, Gates of the City, and The Innocents. The late director Youssef Chahine introduced him through his film (Alexandria, Why?) and after that he participated in many important films, including: The Bus Driver, The Ring and the Bracelet, The Rise of Palm Trees, and The Egyptian Citizen.
