Art Smith, Jr, has over 50 years of film/TV production experience. He is on the Board of Directors for the following organizations; Women in Film/TV Florida, Variety’s Children’s Charity Florida. He is dedicated to working with new screenwriters and production crew. He owns a production company in Florida where he coaches new screenwriters and helps to produce their films at a low budget. Art provides the crew and the camera and serves as the artistic producer. Smith stated, "I love to teach." Smith was a teacher and Artistic Director for 25 years at one time. Smith can credit teaching and mentoring over 300 individuals currently working in the television or film industry. Art's resume includes working on the following productions: in Development, “Through Maria’s Eyes – Assoc Producer, “The Preyers” – Producer. Producer of Standing Ovations; Worked on such films as Fools Gold, Mysterious, Bad Girl Island, Survival Island, The Session, Misguided, Mothers Day, Ocean City, Who Goes There?, Didn’t Say Goodbye, Super Mario Brothers, Good Morning Vietnam, Causalities of War, Soldier Boy’s, Angel Heart, Snake Eyes, Devil's Own, Sweet Liberty, Anger Management, and more. He is a member of the American Film Institute, Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences TV, Independent Feature Project, Society of Motion Picture Television Engineers, Audio Engineering Society, and the National Assoc of Broadcasters
