Asha Kale
Asha Kale is an actress in India's Marathi Language film industry. She was given the V. Shantaram lifetime achievement award by the State Government of Maharashtra in 2010. She started acting at the young age of 14 with Marathi plays. She has completed formal education in Kathak, and used to conduct dance performances. Her name after marriage is Gauri Madhav Naik, but she continued with the same onstage name. Her early education happened in Kolhapur and Pune. 'Tambdi Mati' was her first movie and 'Seemevarun Parat Jaa' was her first commercial theatre play.
