Beza Hailu
Beza Hailu was born and raised in Ethiopia. She moved to the United States as a teenager, where she attended part of her high school and college education. She then moved back to Ethiopia to pursue her lifelong dream of filmmaking. She wrote, directed and produced her first feature film titled Enkoklesh, which became critically acclaimed. Since then, she has produced and written stories/screen plays for several feature films, including Mieraf Hulet and Doka. She also co-wrote one of the most popular and acclaimed TV series in Ethiopia, 'Eregnaye'. In 2015, Ms Hailu was awarded a scholarship from the U.S. State Department to attend the Professional Development Program at the Relativity Media College in Hollywood, where she got her Certification for screenwriting. She is now currently working at Multichoice Ethiopia, where she manages content for Abol TV.
