Celly Campello, artistic name of Célia Campello Gomes Chacon (born Célia Benelli Campello; São Paulo, June 18, 1942 — Campinas, March 4, 2003), was a Brazilian singer, songwriter, actress and multi-instrumentalist, considered the precursor of rock in Brazil, popularizing the twist dance in the country. Due to the success of one of his songs, he participated in the soap opera Estúpido Cupido.
