Chan Teik Quan
Chan Teik Quan, born in 1996, is an assistant lecturer in the Faculty of Cinematic Arts at Multimedia University, Malaysia. His short film, 'Setting Moon', won the Jury's Choice and People's Choice Awards at the Kancil 666 - Young Directors Challenge 2019, as well as the Silver Award for New Director Lotus at ADFEST 2021. His short films have been screened at various international film festivals, including Singapore International Film Festival, Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival, Minikino Film Week, and Cardiff International Film Festival, among others. He often draws inspiration from the mortality of human life and the impermanence of conditioned things.
