LONDON, UK // Dan is Executive Creative Director at the Picture Production Company – an International Creative agency based between London and Los Angeles. Coming from a producing background in TV and Film, Dan wandered into marketing by accident and has been happily avoiding the exit ever since. For over 10 years he has worked across every creative discipline from directing viral campaigns for WATCHMEN, IRON MAN 2 and SUPER 8; to digital; to broadcast; to DVD gaming (remember the 8 months we made those for? Infuriating); and even site specific installation producing the AV for The Academy’s “Hollywood Costume” Exhibition at LACMA. International theatrical highlights include creative campaigns for SHAME, OBLIVION, NOAH, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, POLTERGEIST, THE LIGHT BETWEEN OCEANS, EX MACHINA & the biggest grossing Bond movie of all time SKYFALL. Home media highlights include THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN 2, PEAKY BLINDERS, FURY, and one of the only good ideas he’s ever had – 2015’s Key Art Award winning spot – “22 Reasons to Own 22 Jump Street.” He still defends the half rhyme of “#09 Lambos” to “#10 Octos “ to this day. Dan lives in London with his family – but loves working in Los Angeles whenever he can. He is honored and delighted to be asked to join the jury for the Key Arts Awards for a second time, and plans to hide quietly at the back in case they realize their terrible administrative mistake.
