Denis Simpson

Born: 1950-11-04

Denis Simpson was born on November 4, 1950 in Jamaica. He was the original bass vocalist for The Nylons 1978-1979. Simpson left the Nylons before they became internationally popular as an a cappella act as he got a part in the Broadway musical 'Indigo'. Simpson has composed for many television programs. Most notably he wrote the theme song for the children's program, 'Tell A Tale Town'. He died on October 22, 2010 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
