Enn Lillemets

Ernst "Enn" Lillemets (born May 1, 1958) is an Estonian poet, actor, director and cultural historian. He graduated in 1976 in the Vello Saage literature class of Tartu 8th Middle School, in 1983 he graduated from Tartu State University majoring in Estonian philology, and in 1989 he graduated from the Vanemuine drama studio of the Estonian Theater League under Jaan Tooming and Ülo Vilimaa, and in 1991 he completed his studies at the University of Copenhagen, majoring in Förja (Faroese) culture. Lillemets has worked in the years 1980–1982 and 1988–1992 at the Estonian Literary Museum and in 1989–2000 as an actor and director in the Tartu Children's Theater, later working as a freelancer.
