Frank D. Carsey
Frank D. Carsey received the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), in 1971.,He has been active in polar research for most of the intervening years, specializing in scientific application of satellite data in polar oceanography, and ice sheet glaciology. He is currently developing means for monitoring processes in the subglacial domain using remote sensing and in situ measurements and is interested in the overlap of Earth and planetary science and technology. He is Team Leader for Polar Oceanography in the Earth and Space Science Division, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, CA.(Based on document published on 13 June 2005).
