Gary Carter

Born: 1958-11-10

Born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in Mesquite, a suburb of Dallas. Graduated from North Mesquite High School, three years after Jerri Hall. After a hitch as a Navy Diver, Gary tried several straight jobs including realtor until he hit on filmmaking. In film school at SMU, he found himself working as an actor in friends films so much that he embarked on the career full-time. His reputation as an actor, acting coach and voice talent was solidified in the 90s and he moved to Los Angeles with the premiere of a starring role in Late Bloomers, a Sundance competition winner.
