From serving sundaes as a truck-stop waitress to teaching sex education in rural public schools to writing essays for national publications, Heather Steadham has led many lives. In her current incarnation, Heather works as an English instructor at the University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College, volunteers for the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and performs as an actress when she’s lucky enough to score a gig. Papaw Land is her first film.
