Heba Yousry
An Egyptian actress and director who grew up in an artistic family, her grandmother was the singer Shahrzad, her grandfather was the cinematographer Abdel-Moneim Bahnasy, and her father was the organist Yousry Ramzy. Her first work was Another Passion (2006) which she wrote, directed, and acted in while she was a student at the Film Institute. The movie was shown at the El Sawy Culturewheel Film Festival, and it won the Jury Prize. The movie was also shown at the FIBA Festival in France and at the Goethe Institute. Her film Settou Zad, My First Passion - a documentary that tells the story of her grandmother and how she was affected by her- participated in the Dubai Film Festival. Heba co-starred in Villa 69 (2013).
