Hiromi Tanaka (田中 ひろみ, Tanaka Hiromi) is a Japanese illustrator and writer born in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture. She lives in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture. She graduated from the Nursing School attached to the National Hospital in Osaka and became a nurse. She then moved to Tokyo to become an illustrator. After working as an assistant to Kuhachirō Koarashi (小嵐 九八郎), she became a freelance illustrator. She has published books in various fields such as Edo culture, Japanese history, and Buddhism.
