Horst Mahler
Horst Mahler first came to fame as a lawyer for the left-wing activists of the 1968 movement. He was a co-founder of the RAF in 1970, the same year he ended up in prison. After his release, he was involved in right-wing extremist circles and defended right-wing extremists in court. Further years in prison followed until he was released in 2020. Mahler denies the Holocaust and made anti-Semitic statements.
