Jay Woelfel
Jay Woelfel (b. July 24, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio, United States) is a writer/director of independent films, and with producer Johnnie J. Young, a partner in Young Wolf Productions. Jay Woelfel is an American filmmaker known for his work as a director, writer, composer, and editor in the horror and science fiction genres. He began his career in the late 1980s and has since been involved in various aspects of film production. Notable works include Beyond Dream's Door (1989), a psychological horror film that has garnered a cult following, and Asylum of Darkness (2017), which he wrote, directed, and scored.
