Jef Travis is an American actor known for his realistic portrayal of damaged & unsettling characters. Born and raised in Southern California his first experience on a professional set was as a featured extra on short-lived television series in 1988, TV 101 which became known for its honest portrayal of youth and music subcultures. His first theater roles came in 2008 - 2009 when he was cast in the stage production of Zoot Suit. Produced and Directed by Alma Martinez (Martinez was a cast member from the cinematic adaptation of the play) with the blessings of Zoot Suit author Luis Valdez. He played two roles in the first season and three in the second. These characters sparked a love of the villain roles that he has become known for.
