Jordan Roby

Jordan Roby is an assistant director in the film industry. His most notable work is on the hit TV series The Chosen (2017). Jordan was born and raised in Norman, OK. He attended the University of Oklahoma and was selected as a student to produce, write, and direct the university's nationally televised institutional spot. Jordan graduated from OU in 2011 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. In addition to his freelance producing, Jordan directed a documentary about collegiate athletes and their relationship with a Haitian orphanage that premiered on Fox Sports. Shortly thereafter, Jordan's film and TV career began on the set of August: Osage County as a stand-in for principal cast. Following that once-in-lifetime experience, he began to pursue assistant directing in Chicago and LA. Over the years, Jordan has had the opportunity to work with Mel Gibson, Paul Bettany, Zachary Levi, and many others. Jordan's career forever changed when he became the Second Assistant Director on The Chosen. When it comes to Jordan's style, he is known for organizing environments that encourage freedom of creation and expression for the cast and crew.
