Lindsay is a filmmaker living in Brooklyn, NY, centering their work around identity, addiction and family. They hold a BA in journalism & creative writing from CUNY Baruch College and an MFA in directing from Brooklyn College's Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. Prior to film, Lindsay taught and performed improv comedy at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre, and toured with the UCBTourCo. Lindsay's work at Feirstein was nominated for the KODAK/UFVF Student Award and their thesis film, 'What I See When I Look', was a 2020 IFP Short Film Showcase nominee. It premiered at The Sun Valley Film Festival in April 2021 where it won the prize for Best Short Film, and played in competition at the 2021 Palm Springs International ShortFest, Indie Memphis, & more. It continues to play the festival circuit. Lindsay is in development on their debut feature, CAITY. CAITY is supported by Sundance Catalyst, the Sundance Creative Producing Lab, the Gotham Film Market, the OUTFEST Screenwriting Lab, The SAGIndie New Voices! Reading Series and the Los Cabos Gabriel Figueroa Meet Market.
