Lora Lee Michel was born on September 13, 1940 in Schulenburg, Texas, USA. She was a child actress, once deemed the next Shirley Temple due to her charms and talent. She appeared in movies such as Good Sam (1948), The snake pit (1949), and Tokyo Joe (1949). She retired from screen acting in the 1950s, following a custody battle between her foster parents and biological mother. She died in 1979 in Texas.
