Marieke Douridas
Marieke Laura Douridas was a talented young actress and student from South Pasadena, California. She passed away at the age of 14 in 2006 due to a seizure at her family home. Known for her charisma and creativity, Marieke was actively involved in the arts and had recently been accepted into the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA). Just before her passing, she won the 2006 Best Actress award at the 168 Hour Film Festival for her role in Free of Charge—a short film that underscored her emerging talent.
