Mark Roberts is an accomplished Producer and show-runner, who has began his career in Hollywood as a Universal Tour Guide. His experience consists of over 20 years in television, film and digital media. Mark launched Roberts David Films with the producer/director Lorena David and produced over a dozen films including The Cover Up with Gabriel Mann and Eliza Dushku, Danika with Marisa Tomei and Poor White Trash. Prior to that, Roberts built a sought after casting company for television and film series, specials and live events. At ITV Studios America, Roberts was developing and show running unscripted series and pilots, which resulted in series sales of My Ride Rules for Speed Channel and Ghostly Lovers for Travel Channel. In partnership with 3 Arts Entertainment, Roberts created Tequila Kings, a workplace doc series sold to NUVOtv. Most recently, Roberts was recruited to add his creative touch as Executive Producer and show-runner of Mexico's Next Top Model in its fifth season on Sony's premiere international channels. The series was produced in Mexico City and Los Angeles under Roberts' bilingual leadership. He also produced Water and Power, a critically acclaimed film he developed from a Mark Taper Forum theatrical production, through a Sundance fellowship with creator/director Richard Montoya of the legendary comedy troupe Culture Clash. A Sundance alumni, Roberts was also responsible for Strangers With Candy which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
