Matthew Frias is a film and television actor who earned his first major role portraying Arturo in the popular 2014 sports drama When the Game Stands Tall. He has since gone on to appear in the 2015 drama Akron and the 2016 western By Way of Helena. He was cast alongside Sean Astin in the 2016 comedy thriller Bad Kids of Crestview Academy. He was born and raised just outside of Dallas, Texas. He later settled in Los Angeles, California.
