Megha Sandhu (born 20 July 1996) is a Canadian actress and model. Born in Montréal to Indian immigrant parents, Sandhu was crowned Miss Teenage Canada in 2012. She earned 3rd place at the Miss Universe Canada pageant in 2018, and was crowned Miss International Canada in 2019. She represented her country at the 59th Miss International pageant in Tokyo, Japan where she came 23rd place. She trained in classical ballet, modern dance, and Indian classical dance, and earned a diploma in Behavioural Neuroscience with a minor in Theatre. Prior to her Star Trek role, Sandhu co-starred in the 2021 Lifetime romantic comedy TV movie An Ice Wine Christmas, which also featured Patrick Kwok-Choon, Maria del Mar, and Nck Name in the cast. In 2022, she starred in the independent drama film Arranged Marriage in which her father was played by Kavi Raz. In 2022, Sandhu starred in another holiday-themed romantic TV movie, Mistletoe Time Machine. She also guested in episodes of Hudson & Rex, Pretty Hard Cases (with Daniel Kash), and the miniseries Painkiller (with Sam Anderson, John Ales, Kyle Gatehouse, and Lisa Auguste).
