Melanie Posner

Born: 1993-10-17

As a Fine Arts graduate from the University of Tampa, Melanie is known for painting photo-realistic women with beautiful hues of the rainbow. Originally from Pennsylvania, art was always her happy place and form of self-expression. Her work has been shown in numerous galleries, art exhibits, and painted largely throughout the Tampa Bay region. Melanie has painted murals and logos for various clients. She has painted for Walt Disney World, Colorado brewing company, New Belgium Brewing, local chain restaurant, Acropolis, and the first ever gay club to open in St. Petersburg. One of her biggest accomplishments thus far was being chosen by the SHINE Mural festival committee to paint a 65 foot long mural of one of her vivid women for the city. Her work can be found all over Tampa Bay and she has easily become a popular local artist loved by the community. Melanie paints in vibrant colors and makes a statement with her powerful imagery. Her work is full of energy and striking to the eye. She is inspired by feminine beauty. She uses the human form to express feelings of love and happiness to make the viewer feel as colorful and alive as the painting itself.
