Michael Clements

Michael Clements is an American author, editor, producer, entrepreneur and former actor. In 1991, he graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a minor in Cultural Anthropology. He also holds a Masters degree in International Communication with a minor in Cultural Anthropology from American University in Washington, D.C. He lived and worked in Japan from 1996 to 1996 as a business language consultant and corporate communications specialist for Mazda Motor Company. In 2000, he moved to Hong Kong where he began a two decades career working in publishing as writer and executive editor. He notably worked as a Managing Editor at Eight Custom Publishing in Hong Kong (2001–2004), Executive Editor at Washington Life magazine (2005–2012), and Editor-in-Chief of Capitol File Magazine (2017–2019). In 2010, he founded Genki Media LLC, a creative incubator and consultancy dedicated to artrepreneurship, and quickly established ArtJamz.
