Oscar Castro-Neves
Oscar Castro Neves (Rio de Janeiro, May 15, 1940 - Los Angeles, September 27, 2013) or, as he is known internationally, Oscar Castro-Neves, was a singer, instrumentalist, arranger, composer, music producer and musical director Brazilian. Like Antônio Carlos Jobim and João Gilberto, Oscar Castro-Neves emerged in the early 1960s and was considered by many to be one of the figures who helped establish the Bossa Nova movement in the international market, mainly in the United States.
