Patricio Escartín
Patricio Escartín Murillo is a film student at the National School of Film Arts (ENAC) at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). In 2019, he directed his first short film titled "The Bastard Son" (2019), which was selected in two online festivals. During that period, he was recognized for his cinematographic research work, winning the First Place in the Youth Research Program organized by the National Preparatory School of UNAM. He studied at the College of Dramatic Literature and Theater of UNAM while working as a production assistant at audiovisual production companies such as Guayabo Films and Landia, producing various music videos. During the pandemic, he continued his training online by taking various film courses until he entered ENAC in 2021. Since joining the film school, Patricio has participated in different student and independent short films, taking on various roles in the filmmaking process, including directing, cinematography direction assistance, production, sound, and assistant director. Patricio continues his cinematic education by taking various film courses, and his first short film with ENAC as a director is currently being exhibited. He is currently about to start the seventh semester of the Bachelor's Degree in Cinematography, where he aims to specialize in the area of Fiction Direction.
