Peter Kassovitz

Peter Kassovitz (born November 17, 1938) is a French film director and scriptwriter. He was born in Budapest, Hungary. He left the country at the time of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. He is the father of film director Mathieu Kassovitz. He directed the film Jakob the Liar, starring Robin Williams in 1999.
