Robert Clothier
Clothier enlisted in the Canadian army at age 18, and was injured in a plane crash south of Vancouver just as the war was ending. Shortly afterward, Clothier studied Architecture at the University of British Columbia, and then moved to England where he studied theatre. He was a sculptor and prominent Canadian stage and television actor, best known for his role as "Relic" in the long running TV series "The Beachcombers" (1971).
