Dr. Salah Mohamed Ahmed is a Sudanese archaeologist. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Archaeology from University of Khartoum in 1979, and received a PhD from the Université Charles de Gaulle in France in 1990. He joined the Sudanese Antiquities Service in 1979 and became Fieldwork Director of the Sudan National Corporation for Antiquities and Museums (NCAM) in 1992. He is the author of L’agglomération napatéenne de Kerma. Enquête archéologique et ethnographique en milieu urbain.
