Sam Moore
Sam Moore, born on October 12, 1935, is an American R&B and soul singer best known as one half of the iconic duo Sam & Dave. Raised in Miami, Florida, Moore's powerful and emotive voice became a hallmark of the duo's sound. With partner Dave Prater, they achieved tremendous success in the 1960s, producing hits like "Soul Man" and "Hold On, I'm Comin'."
