Santiago Chacón Narváez. Born in Popayán, Colombia, Santiago grew up in a large Catholic family. He completed his secondary education in the same city and continued his university studies at the Popayán University Foundation, where he graduated as a social communicator. During this time, he became involved with the audiovisual environment of the city and the country and had his first experiences in film shoots and festivals. In 2017, he moved to France, where he learned the language, and in 2018 he was accepted for a Master’s degree in Film by ECAL/HEAD (École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne). He participated in the documentary project OUMAR, shot in Senegal, and directed the short film LES TEMPS DU RÊVE, for the Opal Foundation in Switzerland.
