She worked in theater and film receiving a BFA in Cinema from SMU in Dallas before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her interests in Film and Health. In 2004, she received a MS in Nutritional Science becoming a RDN/Dietitian working as a speaker for media and other corporations: ESPN, Disney, MTV, AOL, ABC, GE, etc.
