Siti Tanjung Perak
Siti Sundari binti Samad or better known as Siti Tanjung Perak is one of the famous movie stars of the 1950s and 1970s. Siti Sundari binti Samad was born in Pulau Wasi Bugis, Sulawesi. In 1927 she start to become active in the Pentas Bangsawan throughout the island of Borneo.While on stage, Siti was known as the most beautiful aristocratic actress at that time until she was given the title of Seri Panggung. In 1947, Siti stepped into the world of film. Her first film was SERUAN MERDEKA. Her second was SINGAPURA DI WAKTU MALAM directed by B S Rajhans and produced by Shaw Brothers.
