Stacy Chu
Stacy Chu is a filmmaker who writes, directs, produces, and acts. Born and raised in New Jersey, she is of Chinese descent and speaks fluent Mandarin. Chu attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City as an undergrad, where she completed her thesis film, Blue Cranes, shot in Hang Zhou, China, which she wrote, starred, and directed. She moved to Los Angeles, where she attended the American Film Institute graduate film program. She studied directing and made her thesis film, Winston.
