Talvo Pabut

Talvo Pabut (February 27, 1962 Tartu - June 25, 2017 Tartu) was an Estonian actor and director. He graduated from Tartu 2nd Secondary School in 1980 and studied at the Performing Arts Department of the Tallinn State Conservatory from 1980 to 1984, graduating in the 11th year. In 2005, he defended his thesis at the University of Tartu and received a master's degree in theater studies. He worked as an actor in Rakvere Theater in 1984-1989 and in Ugala Theater in Viljandi in 1995-2001. In the years 1991–1993, he was the artistic director of the literary propaganda office of the Estonian Writers' Union, then in 1993–1994, he was the director of the literary department of the Youth Theater. Worked in the Tartu studio of Estonian Television 1994–1995. Since 2001, he was a freelancer. Founder and member of the ensemble Kiritöo.
