Tani Hala, a dynamic actor of Tongan descent from Inglewood, CA, recently won the Sparkfest '24 National Acting Competition, earning acclaim from industry experts Spencer Gualdoni (Tara Rubin Casting), Lily Tung Crystal (East West Players), and Ralph B. Pena (Ma-Yi Theatre) for his depth, range, and presence. Known for his quick wit and infectious humor, Tani is celebrated for his comedic skills as a sketch actor and improviser, as well as his ability to combine strength and vulnerability. Tani gained attention with his role in Netflix's "Me Time" (2022), acting opposite Kevin Hart. He further showcased his talent in NBC Peacock's "Bel-Air," appearing with Jabari Banks and Olly Sholotan in an episode directed by Matthew Cherry. Additionally, Tani appeared in Vertical Entertainment's "The Donor Party" (2022), alongside Malin Akerman, Erinn Hayes, and Bria Henderson, and in NBC Peacock's "Based on a True Story" (2023), working with Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina.
