Tina Fabrique
Tina Fabrique is a singer and actress. She is best known for being the vocalist for the theme song for the children's television show, Reading Rainbow, which aired on PBS from 1983 until 2009. Her version of the theme ran until 1999, when it was replaced by a newer version by Chaka Khan. The original theme song was written by Steve Horelick, Dennis Neil Kleinman, and Janet Weir, and featured one of the first uses of the Buchla synthesizer in a TV theme song.
