Kristensen's first Le Mans win came in 1997 with Porsche, and he went on to achieve his historic record primarily with Audi, including an impressive streak of six consecutive wins from 2000 to 2005. Beyond Le Mans, Kristensen enjoyed success in other racing series, including the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) and the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
