Uriel Reyes
Independent filmmaker born in the southern part of Mexico City. He completed his undergraduate studies in cinematography at ENAC – UNAM, specializing in directing and production. In his fiction works, he aims to extrapolate his characters' emotional and mental states through visual elements inspired by expressionism. Additionally, he has ventured into live cinema, engaging in the live manipulation of audiovisual pieces through code and programming. His versatility and creativity are evident in his exploration of new forms of cinematic expression. It's worth noting that in 2022, he served as a young jury member at the Black Canvas Festival, underscoring his recognition and active involvement in the contemporary cinematic scene.
