Veronica is an accomplished and seasoned professional in the film industry, with over 30 years of experience in writing and producing short scripts and feature-length screenplays. Based in Burbank, California, she is an accredited and award-winning film producer, scriptwriter, consultant, editor, ADR sound recordist, ghostwriter, published author, poet, former podcast co-host and voice-over actress. Her expertise spans local and national TV commercials, radio ads, video games, TV and film animation. Known affectionately as Ronni or Jade, Veronica's passion for filmmaking was ignited early in life when she was cast as a background extra in the films Foxes (1980) and Starman (1984). She attributes her passion and opportunities in the film industry to her mom, whose unwavering support and encouragement were instrumental in Veronica's film production journey. Through the years, she has been a proud member of the WGAE, WGAW, SAG-AFTRA and p.g.a. A realist at heart, Veronica has balanced her film and writing career with the demands of raising a family and working various jobs, including factory machine operation and a data conversion operator for the USPS. She was also the primary caregiver for over two decades to her mother, Joann, who suffered paralysis and progressive Alzheimer's disease. A lifelong movie enthusiast, Veronica's love for the art of cinema began at age seven when she saw Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) at a local matinée with her mother.
